Write your candidates

We need your help to ensure the priorities of the auto care industry are front and center during the election campaign.

You play a crucial role in making sure those seeking public office understand the importance of our $43.9 billion industry, which provides over 500,000 jobs across Canada.

This is your chance to influence the conversation about the future of Canada’s auto care sector and the federal government’s role in supporting our goals.

Your vote matters. Take action today!

Meet your candidates

An equally important step is following up with candidates by scheduling a meeting with them in your riding, either at your office or shop, over the next several weeks.

Start by introducing the business you represent:

• Where you are located
• How many people you employ
• The services your business provides to Canadian consumers

Then, refer to AIA Canada’s talking points, available for download below, which are designed to guide your conversation with key messages about our requests to the government—such as supporting the right to repair, combating auto theft, and addressing labour shortages in the industry.

To identify the candidates in your riding, click here. Simply copy/paste their name and riding in your preferred search engine to locate their contact information.

Alternatively, you can reach out to AIA Canada’s Vice President, government relations, Emily Holtby, at emily.holtby@aiacanada.com for assistance.
